Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Charleston Comprehensive Treatment Center to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

Our kind and understanding team of professionals works with patients who are battling an addiction to painkillers, morphine, or heroin and assist them in their recovery. Our staff will monitor all prescribed medication and how it is administered so that patients will get the most from their time spent in treatment. At Charleston Comprehensive Treatment Center, we provide a variety of different medications, including:

• Vivitrol
• Subutex
• Suboxone
• Methadone

The medication prescribed to the patient will be decided based on his or her individual needs and overall health. Additionally, dosages will also be individually determined and may be increased or decreased throughout the treatment process if and/or when the patient needs. All medications and dosages will be decided by one of our skilled physicians.
